Install PLESK on ubuntu hardy

I have bought new server for SEDC kelantan and i have stuck when i install Debian 4.0 than i install ubuntu 8.04 LTS server editions.

After googling around  i not found the best tutorial how to install Plesk on ubuntu 8.04 hardy.

than this is the basic tutorial and it will help you and me.

switch the AppArmor service off, before installing Parallels Plesk Panel

#/etc/init.d/apparmor stop

and remove it from start-up list

#update-rc.d -f apparmor remove

Download the latest version of Parallels Products Installer

# wget

# wget

# chmod +x parallels_installer_v3.5.0_build090817.16_os_Ubuntu_8.04_i386

Run the following command bef ore install

#export LANG=C
#export LANG_ALL=C

Run Parallels Products Installer

if you wanna install using web run this command

# ./ parallels_installer_v3.5.0_build090817.16_os_Ubuntu_8.04_i386  –web-interface

Open your browser and enter https://hostname:8447/ or https://IP-address:8447/

Log in as root.

To install Parallels Plesk Panel through the command line interface

# ./ parallels_installer_v3.5.0_build090817.16_os_Ubuntu_8.04_i386

Follow the instructions presented on the screen to complete the installation

When the installation is finished, Parallels Plesk Panel will start automatically.

login to Parallels Plesk Panel on your host at or https://IP-address:8443/

The default username is “admin” and the default password is “setup

    What was the point of including this line in the instructions

    I downloaded and looked at this file but your instructions don’t explain what to do with the files inside.
