Ubuntu Server dhcp and firewall

This is first try to install and use Ubuntu Server 9.0. I want to use it as a firewall and dhcp server.
This guide for newbie.
Install dhcp.
aptitude install dhcp3-server
Configuring Dhcp
pico /etc/default/dhcp3-server
Findf this line and change meet you interface
INTERFACE =”ethO” change ethO to eth1 or others.
backup copy of dhcp3-conf file
cp /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf.back
pico /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf
change to this

default-lease-time 600;
max-lease-time 7200;
option subnet-mask 255.255.255.0;
option broadcast-address 192.168.1.255;
option routers 192.168.1.254;
option domain-name-servers 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2;
option domain-name “yourdomainname.com”;
subnet 192.168.1.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 {
range 192.168.1.10 192.168.1.200;
}

If using MAC Address method

For firewall i always use homeLANsecurity firewall easy and stable for me.
