FreeBSD Set Speed Duplex

How to set speed Duplex on freebsd NIC?

first check NIC speed duplex..

ifconfig em0

ifconfig | grep media

Output:

en0: flags=8843 mtu 1500

options=b

inet 10.10.1.2 netmask 0xffffffc0 broadcast 10.10.1.29

ether 00:30:48:93:1e:9a

media: autoselect (100baseTX) status: active

—————————————————

10Mbps full-duplex:

ifconfig <interfacename>  <ip address> media 10baseTX mediaopt full-duplex

100Mbps full-duplex: 

ifconfig <interfacename>  <ip address> media 100baseTX mediaopt full-duplex

 1000Mbps full-duplex:

ifconfig <interfacename>  <ip address> media 1000baseTX mediaopt full-duplex

change on /etc/rc.conf

and restart NIC and routing.

/etc/rc.d/netif restart ; /etc/rc.d/routing restart
